After a long hiatus (that's right, one week is a long hiatus), I'm back to work again, ready to keep everyone updated on the political news of this cycle.
But tonight I'd like to make a fantastic announcement for the future of this blog. One of the best ways to grow the base of a blog is to add new contributors, it helps to keep unique and relevant information at the hands of the readers.
So I'd like to announce now that we'll be adding a resident economist to the PL vs: community; I won't announce his name yet, but he'll be researching and commenting on the important economic issues of our time, including the Federal Reserve, Social Security, Fair Tax proposals, the income tax, GINI coefficients, micro vs macro economic theories including Keynesian, neo-Keynesian, and Neoclassical perspectives, the economic side of foreign policy, this current "recession", and if you read his posts religiously, much much more, I'm sure.
More on that will come forth in the coming couple of weeks, and I hope you're interested in seeing more economics in this blog!
